Hello. You can call our customer care dept. and we can troubleshoot with you on your solar lights. The best way to reach us is by phone or email.
I bought two of these lights in spring. Awesome lights. I have had several solar lights over the years & these are the best by far!!! I can't understand why others don't rate them as excellent!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Do not buy this product

This is the second review I am writing on this product. The first one was never published so I am trying again. I have just replaced 7 of my 10 lights I initially purchased. The original lights worked for about a year - oh, that is the warranty period! Then they slowly died off. I bought new batteries - that Canadian Tire do not sell - and nothing. These lights are beautiful, but just do not last. Do not buy them. Tested by me, after my investment, in Canada.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello, We can assist on where the battery's can be purchased from, you want to make sure that you are buying solar rechargeable battery's the right voltage and MAH. This light requires a 1 x 3.2V 500 mAH lithium battery. If you have more questions. the best way to reach us is by phone or email.
First of all, the instructions failed to mention that there is an on-off switch underneath. The lights (I bought three) only work on alternate days because, I assume, the battery hasn’t taken enough charge. I’ve now bought a pack of new rechargeable batteries which I hope may last longer or take a fuller charge. We’ll see ...

Great for 9 months, then....

Then nothing. One by one they stopped working. I bought nine of these, so am more than a little miffed that a few hundred bucks was wasted. I thought perhaps they just didn't work in winter, but here it is spring and still no light. I took a gamble on solar lighting, despite hearing how finicky and unreliable it is. Back to low voltage for me.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can you purchase replacement parts? I need a new Top for the PIR path light as well as I need a replacement battery, for some reason Canadian Tire does not carry the batteries.

A: Hello,
Your light carries a 1 year warranty with a copy of your reciept. Unfortuntley, we do not carry parts so if the light is not working we would replace the whole light. The best way to reach us is by phone or email.

Q: what am I doing wrong?
I bought one of these and turned the switch to ON and put it outside; it worked for 3 days, then it quit. I exchanged it for 2 (the price had gone down), and they lasted 3 days again. Am I just very unlucky ??

Q: Can the light be set to be off completely except if activated by the PIR.
I'd like the area to be kept dark unless a person walks the path. Otherwise the lights may not last long into the evening since it's a shady area and the batteries may not get fully charged every day.

Q: Where do I purchase additional batteries?
Bought 4 in Feb 2016. 2 have already died. Upon opening them batteries had expired over a year ago Jan 2015.
Where do I purchase additional batteries, the ones that are required are extremely difficult to find?
1 Answer
A: The date on the batteries are the produced on dates, not the expiration dates.
If you still have your receipt you can contact the vendor customer service department at 1-888.377.5377.
They can help trouble shoot the lights to see if there is a reason other than the battery that the light is not working.
If it turns out it is the batteries since the lights were just purchased last month they should be able to send replacement batteries out.

Q: How do you change the battery?
There were no instructions in either of the two units I bought. Also, can the 3.2 V 500 mAh lithium battery be non-chargeable as well as rechargeable, i.e. the box says one thing, but the CT web site says another.
1 Answer
A: Below are the instructions to change the battery on this light. The replacement battery must be rechargeable in order for the light to function.
1) Unscrew the top of the light.
2) Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the battery cover in place.
3) Remove the battery cover.
4) Replace the battery with a new 3.2V 500 mAh rechargeable lithium battery.

Q: can the lights be left out in winter?
1 Answer
A: Yes, the lights can be left out in the winter and will function. However the solar panel will need to be cleared of snow or debris in order to function correctly, the shorter amount of sun exposure in the winter will also impact the total run time of the light.
