Product Details

When the hot and humid weather comes around, a tower fan is a must-have for any indoor space. This NOMA Oscillating Pedestal Fan allows you to create four kinds of cool with continuous, natural, sleep and smart wind modes, which let you tailor the airflow to the needs of your space. With six speed settings, you can customize the breeze to your personal needs, making the fan faster on hot days and slower when you subtly want to circulate the air in your room. This pedestal fan is designed with a five-blade propeller for added airflow compared to fans with fewer blades, while the wide angle oscillation feature offers ample airflow in large spaces. The tilt design lets you aim the fan with absolute precision to get a breeze where you need it most. Thanks to an 8-hour timer with auto shut-off, you can leave this oscillating fan on overnight without worry. Featuring an LED display and a handy remote, this pedestal fan can quickly and conveniently switch between settings from across the room, making it a great option for your workshop, home office, kitchen, or anywhere else you need versatile airflow with the click of a button.

  • The NOMA Pedestal Fan features a 16" (41 cm) diameter pedestal fan and 5 fan blades for more even airflow

Matériaux un peu frêles mais une fois assemblé, très bien équilibré. On ne l'entend pratiquement pas! C'est génial! 2e été et il est parfait!

Awful product.

Safety feature triggers randomly, contacted Canadian tire about this and they didn’t help at all. I am constantly having to turn the fan back on after the safe-touch feature activates when no one is even near it.

Q: Should I return it? I just purchased the 16 inch Garrison Pedestal fan $59.95 in Newmarket. It assembled well, but the fan will not rotate on it's own. There are multiple settings, but it will only rotate the fan one time, then it stops. Should I return it?

  • A: We are sorry to hear that you have been having problems with your fan. If the fan is still not functioning properly, please return it to your local Canadian Tire store. There are 3 types of oscillation: left & right, up & down, and 8 figure. There is a key on the fan that allows you to switch between the oscillation modes. Please note that this unit has a safety-touch function so make sure that no objects or hands are touching the grille otherwise the fan will temporarily stop.

Q: Fan won't stay tilted down I bought this fan about a month ago and just started putting it together to find that when I manually tilt it forward, it will immediately snap back to the highest position unless I hold it down. Is this a problem with the way it's screwed in?

  • A: I've never encountered that problem. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the setting you're on. If it's on the W oscillation, it's going to move up and down at will. Try using with fan without the W oscillation setting. If you're having this problem before the unit is plugged in and running, I'd say plug it in and try it without the W oscillation setting. If there's still doing that, then there is a problem with the unit.

Q: How far up does it tilt upwards? Does it tilt upwards at all, or just downward and back to level? I am looking for one that can also tilt upwards to blow air upstairs from the basement.

  • A: It does have a feature that it rotate's up and down, but you can also tilt it upward with your hand. I'm not sure how far up you're looking, but you can tilt it facing up.

Q: A low hum on Speed 1? All the reviews said that this fan was quiet. I notice that on Speed 1 of the fan there is a low hum that comes and goes. It goes away when I turn the speed up, but when I sleep I don't want the fan on high. Does anyone else experience this low hum?

  • A: I have the same issue after less than a year. I've taken the blade assembly apart, lubricated where I could, and still no solution. Mine doesn't oscillate properly, either. I'm very disappointed in what COULD have been a great product.

Q: The fan frequently has the sensor triggered (no one touches it, it's just there by itself and then suddenly it stops) and it would stop working for a while and makes this loud noise, then it starts working again only then gets triggered again.
