Q: Just installed 2 boxes of these and the lights are not very bright. Do they take awhile to charge up and give off better light?

A: I bought higher MA batteries, charged them fully with an external charger. They are at least twice as bright and will stay on until dawn. Then the next day with full sun, will fully charge. Hope that helped.

Q: The ad says fits 4" & 6". Is there just one size? My posts are 3.5" so I think 6" would be too large.

A: There are two bases for each light. The 4x4 is actually only 3.75" not 4". If your post is only 3.5" they would fit perfectly.

Q: I'm wondering if these lights would work for an outdoor PVC railing that measures 4x4? I utilized another brand of lights before for this purpose and they're beautiful. Unfortunately my current lights solar panels have stopped working,so I need new lights

A: They sit on a 4x4 post but are screwed in the the wood for anchoring. So I don’t think you wish to put holes in your PVC post.

Q: We just bought these lights and they not fit. The information on the Canadian Tire website says that they fit on "flat surfaces" How do you install on flat surfaces. Please provide instructions.

A: I don’t think these will sit completely flat. It was over a year ago we put them on so can’t remember exactly how they go on. We put them on fence posts and they were relatively easy to install.
