Not my first rodeo

So I entered in a rodeo for something to do. You need a rope and I didnt have one so I used this extension cord instead. It turns out I cant tie a lasso so I failed at rodeo but the extension cord works great for my Christmas lights.

Upgrade my electrical cords for yard work, etc.

Over the summer, it appeared all my electrical cords that I use for yard work were getting old and giving me problems. Also, half of them were only two prong and for the three prong I had, on a couple of them the third prong was falling out. So it was time to upgrade. So I made an conscious decision to look at the CndTire flyers and keep an eye out for higher gauge extension cords that were on special. I found one on the recent flyer and ending up getting it - 14 gauge. I have not used it yet, but it will be an great to have a new, safe and reliable extension cord. The price was very good for the quality.

Q: Chose this medium duty Noma extension cord (lower gauge, higher max watts/amps) over their cheaper light duty option. Now I see the light duty is listed as good for lawn mowers, whereas this medium duty is only good for work lights and drills. Why?!

A: I bought the medium guage wire. I run lawn mowers, on the construction site i had drills mixing hard materials. Work lights all the same time. By the way, the very best quality because it does not get twisted or tangled. Wraps in arm or cord roller easily. Got a waxy type touch. Best i ever bought. I had to get 2 because i have a bit of land. I hope this helps.

Q: The locking mechanism on this extension cord has become stuck and will not release a plug connected to the cord. Do you have advice on how to troubleshoot this so I can unplug the connected equipment?

A: To try to release the plug from the connector, please push the button and pull out the plug simultaneously. If the plug is still stuck, please turn off the power first, then destroy the female connector to release the plug. The manufacturer can offer a new extension cord.
