Noma Outdoor LED, Red/Green/White, 4.9-m, 24-pc

I have purchased at least five strings of outdoor NOMA LED Christmas lights from Canadian Tire over several years. The lights themselves are attractive, and when they are new they perform well. Unfortunately, every set has failed within two to three seasons, despite being used carefully and only for about 90 days per year. The failures appear to be linked to the plug-end housing that contains the electronic driver. When this component stops working, the entire light string becomes unusable and must be thrown away, even though the LEDs themselves are still intact. This points to a design and durability issue rather than normal wear and tear. Products like these should be built to last. Customers reasonably expect seasonal outdoor lighting to function for many years, not just a couple of holiday cycles. Short product lifespans create unnecessary expense for consumers and contribute directly to avoidable electronic waste. That reflects a lack of concern for both customers and the environment. Canadian Tire has the scale and expertise to do better. Until these lights are designed to last a decade or more, I cannot recommend them. They look good out of the box, but their poor longevity undermines their value and sustainability

I bought 2 strings of lights online and picked it up at my local store. One of the strings of lights did not work out of the box unfortunately and the other string of lights didn’t work well. The lights were dim and flickering. I attempted to change the fuses with the spares provided but it only worked for a few days and then completely stopped working.

Had to return 2 sets that didn't work

Bought 3 strands, 2 strands lasted 2 weeks and went out. Replaced the fuses and still don't work.

bare spots where the bulb socket meets the wire. rain or wet snow shorts them out. 2 strings didnt work right out of the box
