NOMA Jumbo LED Solar Stake Lights, 6 pack

En août 2017, j'ai acheté ce produit au magasin Lebourgneuf de Québec. J'ai dû me présenter au magasin à deux reprises, car certaines lampes solaires ne fonctionnaient pas du tout. J'ai également changé toutes les piles des lampes après seulement quelques jours d'utilisation. Évitez tout simplement l'achat de cet article qui ne devrait pas être disponible sur les tablettes...

We purchased 2 boxes of these lights for the garden recently, under the impression that because they were not cheap lights they would be a good buy. They are very disappointing, they light up at dusk and only stay lit for a couple of hours. I was told by Cobourg customer service that they could not be returned without a receipt, which I do no longer have.

J'ai acheté le 10 Juillet 2017 et ils sont placés plein soleil, ils ne rechargent pas. J'en n'est retourné deux et après quelques jours même problème ..... Soit que les batteries sont de mauvaises qualités ou le mécanisme fait défaut.

These lights are pure garbage because of the use of very cheap plastic in critical places that render them incredibly flimsy. I bought 2 packages for my wife for Mother's Day, and bought a 3rd that I keep tucked away just in case I fling rocks at them with the mower. Little did I know that I'd be dipping into that set just to replace cheap parts right from the get-go. The positives: they are very elogant looking with a nice heavy glass and a black powder coated shaft. They also light up very nicely and look amazing once they are finally set up. The negatives: the black metal shaft connects to a very flimsy plastic stake that is held in place by mere friction. If you have a garden bed that consists of very soft dirt, they will probably be okay. But add in just a bit of clay, and once you place them into the ground you will have great difficulty getting the stake part of it out of the ground. The solar light will come out very easily, leaving the stake in the ground. When you try to then get the stake out of the ground, you'll end up breaking it because it is made of cheap flimsy plastic. Even worse than the stake though is the way the glass cup is secured onto the shaft. There is cheap flimsy plastic cone that sits on the inside of the glass cup. It has a screw running up through it in order to connect it to the shaft. Unfortunately that plastic cone is very easily threaded or out-right broken. Such a shame given the way it looks in the end. If you want 12 of them in your yard, make sure to purchase at least 18 of them because it won't be long before you have to switch out parts.
