Disappointed

Start with the good, as a general light bulb with variable colour temperature its a great light(bright white to candle orange), but thats about where my positives end. I did some testing and i believe my issues may have been due to these bulbs having poor wifi strength, as I was able to get them to work right by my router, yet the room I was in was 20ft way and i get excellent wifi strength in there.
For one, i'm not a huge fan of the colours when you get into the RGB, they are mostly washed out such as Red looking more Pink, blue and green were decent, but for the price Id hope they would make good colours, outside of the normal bulb colour temperature.
The app also lacked functionality, I can get a cheap light strip that can do all kinds of different patterns and true colours, yet these just change to washed out colours and dim (which when on a colour. the bulbs are already much dimmer than a normal light).
In the room i was planning to use them;
I found the app frustrating to use, it seems to take a while to connect the bulbs, and it kept saying my wifi password was wrong(copy and pasted it from settings to be sure). the bulbs seemingly responded to my changes at random delays or not at all, then if they loose connection they don't want to reconnect and i had to delete them and re-pair them, which took a lot of retry's.
As I mentioned, I did get them to work better right by the wifi router, but there is no reason these should not work in an unobstructed room 20 feet away, and makes them useless if thats the range they have to be in to use the app.
Overall disappointed in the product and I would not recommend them if you are installing them anywhere away from your wifi router. I will be returning these.

Terrible app

The bulbs work fine. But the app you have to download is terrible. First we tried to use them at a campsite and without strong wifi, we couldn’t use them at all. Even at home with a strong wifi network I haven’t been able to set them up. They won’t connect to the app at all. I’m very dissappinted

Genuinely the worst product ive ever bought. The app doesnt work on a good day, the bulbs on a bad one. They never want to hook up to the phone after its inevitably disconnected itself and broken itself again. Literally useless. Just pay the extra 10 dollars and buy Globe products or buy ones with a remote, the Noma App and Noma bulbs belong in the dumpster, not your roof

Good, but not good

As many people have said if you change the router or connections password as soon as you reset these bulbs the will constantly go into paring mode. Just as others have as well these bulbs do work well until this scenario happens, there is no way to completely reset these bulbs once they have been setup for the first time, can only be paired to the original router the were Initially paired to.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Both of my lights connected 2.4 GHz automatically and not to my 5 GHz. I don't know for sure if they work on 5GHz, but I doubt it.
