A: It will probably run non-stop in a unheated garage but if it's below freezing and there is a power outaged you will be screwed. of course everything will freeze and break.

Q: Can it be programmed to operate without WiFi? Is there a method to turn off WiFi permanently so that on power restoration it does not default to “initial setup” every time?

A: It operates without wifi by default. First plug-in, and subsequent plug-ins default to continuous running without wifi. I did not set up the wifi right away on my unit. There was no initial setup. You have to set it to pairing mode to setup wifi.

Q: It sounds the same and the air flow feels the same when the fan is on high or low. Does anyone else have this, I'm wondering if it is defective?

A: I thought the same with mine. Running through a power monitor shown it drawing less watts, so it must be doing something different.

Q: What is the sones or db levels on the two fan speeds? When running to bring to a set desired humidity level, does the fan run continuously, or does it cycle on and off as needed?

A: The compressor will stop when the %RH is 5% below the Set. The fan will run ~1 minute to cool down before turning off. Both the compressor and fan will turn back on then %RH is 5% above the set. There's also a minimum of 3 minutes between Off and On.
