Noma potlights
a month ago
The potlights work fine, but the junction boxes had knock-outs that didn't knock out. I had to cut them out with tinsnips. Frustrating!

Keeps losing connection to the cloud

My experience with this product was very poor. First, my sensor keeps losing connection to the cloud, despite being close to a WiFi router. When this happens, you don't get any notification of water leaks...I tested it. So, it's unreliable...exactly what you don't need for a water sensor. Second, I went to the website for help, was directed there to a helpline, but was told on the helpline that they can't help with Noma products! And there is no online help that I could find. Even the manual doesn't have any help for faults. There are cheaper water sensors on the market...I'll try them as I can't afford an unreliable sensor.
No, I do not recommend this product.

We recently received a NOMA iQ Smart Wi-Fi Flood & Water Leak Sensor. The unit is easy to install and having it in my basement gives me a great peace of mind knowing I will be alerted should my water tank or my freezer chest is leaking.

Q: The product sends a notification to the app but I don’t get any indication that something is wrong. It is not sending me any alerts. I have notifications set up for a sound on my phone but none are sent.
