Very bright, however you basically have to be right under the motion sensor to activate the light. Would also be good if there was a way to adjust the length of time that the light stayed on from the motion sensor.

A: Garbage, if it flickers is because of a faulty motion sensor. I was very disappointed in the valve and quality of these lights

Q: how does this unit mount to ceiling? Can the fixture be dropped lower with a couple of chains?

A: mounts with screw-holes in weakly-attached plastic end-caps. Can hang from a chain with a just-so sized hook through the holes in the end caps
