Watchout! Transparent tube

If you look at the picture carefully, you will notice the light tube is transparent. You will see those LEDs. I have never seen such a light. When the light is on, the LEDs are too bright for the eyes. Horrible design.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: That's a question for an electrician, not a consumer. In North America, 240v and 330v circuits are primarily for industrial use, 110-120v circuits are standard in residential. The few factories I have been in have separate circuits for lighting but I do not know what the voltage was. Safety circuits designed for high amps and "low" voltage may be configured differently for low amp and "high" voltage use. European appliances (220v) can be transformed for N.A. (110v) use, and vice versa, but you will void your warranty. You need to ask a pro. My guess is they will say the same thing: don't be a test subject.

A: It is not warm white but cool. Probably about 4.5 - 5K.

Q: Any way of hanging these if i had the chain to do it?

A: I hung mine from a chain. I put a paper clip through the screw hole in the mounting brackets. I then attached the chain to that. It's not the best solution since in my case it doesn't hang perfectly, has a bit of an angle to it. But, you can do it, and probably find a better solution than mine. :D

Q: Has anyone installed these on the ceiling? I ask because the instructions actually say do not install them on the ceiling???

A: Yes, the instructions say to not mount them IN the ceiling (their wording is recessed installs aren't recommended).

Q: What is the maximum number of lights that can be linked together and are there longer link cables available? Purpose:I'm making 3 light boxes to back light a vinyl sign (59in tall x 30in wide). To link 3 light boxes to the one controller/power source.
