If you expect this will put out similar light to other LED flouresent replacements, you will be disappointed. Would guess it's about equivalent to a single 60W incandescent bulb.

Q: Does this light come with a way to string multiple lights in series, for example that end-cap comes off and a short stubby cable is supplied that allows another same light to be connected to it forming a string?

A: Yes, that is how it works. I have eight lights in series working off one receptacle. Each light comes with two cables: There is an approximately 5’ long cable with a switch that plugs into a wall, and there is an approximately one foot long cable so you can connect another light. If you mount your lights on the ceiling, you will need to rig up another system to turn off and off the lights as the switch is on the supplied cord is positioned close to the light, so it will be on the ceiling as well.
