A: No, it only supplies current to the plugged in device when the program cycle is on. This means your washer would come on in standny when the timer gives it power.

Q: Is this continous past midnight? Hi, I bought this timer and noticed that it is not continuous past midnight. It would shut off and then turn on again. What do I do to make it continous

A: I do the same with my dehumidifier. I've set up the timer to start early evening and turn off the next morning. Seems to work fine.

A: As soon as you press set for the last time and provided there is no x on that particular program it is active immediately. It will run regardless of what screen you are in.
