Picked up 2 of these fans, which we installed on our covered deck. They are awesome, the weather is getting so hot and we have full sun, so these fans help with airflow.

Nice look fan difficult installation

the fan looks good now that is up but the design makes installation more difficult than necessary. I don't know why the fan blades need to interlock but it makes a simple step challenging. Also all other fans I've installed have a top mount cover. this one is on the underside to hide the 2 mounting screws. this is challenging because a screwdriver doesn't fit between the the cover plate and the fan. Whoever designed this did not use the KIS principle (keep it simple) and over-engineered it. I hope it lasts because I'm not installing an other one.

Turns on randomly, probably from rogue waves on the same frequency as the wireless receiver.
Developed a very subtle tick just outside warranty, only noticeable when everything is quiet, like when you're trying to sleep.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: I bought two, one for each bedroom. Can the remote be programmed to only work on one fan at a time? I did not see any dip switches to change programming.

A: Please follow the below steps on how to pair the remote with ceiling fan: STEP A: Turn OFF the power to the fan either at the wall switch or breaker box. STEP B: Wait 10 seconds and turn ON the power to the fan. STEP C: Within 30 seconds of turning on power to the fan, press and hold the(FAN ON/OFF)button for 5 seconds. The fan wobbles and makes a “beep beep” sound which indicate that pairing is successful. If there are other fans that need to be paired, repeat the above process. Please note that pairing only works with 1 Fan at a time, so the other ceiling fan should be turned OFF during the pairing process.

Q: Does this NOMA Darby 3-Blade ceiling fan use replaceable or non-replaceable bulbs? I'm wondering what happens down the line when the bulb needs to be replaced.

A: The Ceiling fans can use replaceable LED Bulbs. In future, if they need to be replaced, the LED Bulbs can be replaced.
