Great dimmable LED bulbs

I have 9 of these LED BR30 bulbs installed between two Lutron dimmer switches. I started with incandescent bulbs because I had a really rough time with getting bulbs that worked properly with these dimmer switches, back in 2013 when I finished my basement. I even bought dimmable CFLs listed on the manufacturer's compatibility list, but they could not be dimmed below 30% without flickering. I ended up returning those CFL bulbs and turned back to incandescent bulbs instead. I did not want to use incandescents or halogens, but I didn't have much other choice because other LED bulbs at the time were incredibly expensive. When I saw a promotion for these NOMA bulbs, I thought I would give them a try -- low price per bulb and they were marketed as dimmable. They have worked great for me -- full-range dimming with no issues. My Lutron switches allow me to set the minimum dimmable level on the slider and I have it set very low, almost to off.

The amount of increased light you get from such a great reduction in power use is great. We converted our condo and cabin to LED lighting wherever we could.

I've used these lightbulbs in a number of different settings around my house, really like the warm glow compared to the cold glare of some LED brands. The don't take long to come to full brightness (unlike some I've tried) and they cut my energy use down about 80% from incandescents.
