LED is energy efficient but lighting quality bad

LED may be highly energy efficient...but the quality of light is absolutely terrible in comparison to incandescent. Out of four bulbs...one flickers sporadically and despite packaging saying "dimmable"...these babies don't dim like an incandescent. I'm using them in a lighting fixture with six white globes and every single globe looks different...different streaks and dark spots. When I use incandescent...the globes are all uniformly white.

Q: Can these bulbs be used base up in a chandelier ? (So with the tip of the glass bulb pointing to the floor.)

A: It would take some tiime to reverse the chandelier upside down. The glass cubs are sitting on a metal base. You could crazy glue them on and still be able to replace the bulbs. The problem you would face are the 3 long rods, they hook but come out easily, you would have to secure them diffrently. Best of luck

Q: These do not dim with a hand held remote control for a ceiling fan, only with a hard wired wall dimmer.. Other led's do dim, but these will not. Any reason why they won't?
