You have to connect the ends to the cord. Apparently the ends don't stay secure unless you wrap with lots of electric tape. I returned them.

Hello Lacm. Thank you for sharing your experience with the NOMA Advanced Indoor & Outdoor Custom LED Bulk Wire for Christmas Lights, 25-ft. Please note that electrical tape is not required. Simply slide back the cover of the Male or Female plug end, insert the wire into the hole and then bend the wire over the pointed teeth. Those teeth pierce the wire insulation making the electrical connection. Slide the cover back over the plug end and the wire is now secured. I hope the above information is helpful to you. C'est quand même facile de faire les fils avec les branchements. Sauf qu'il aurait été bon d'avoir les instructions pour éviter de chercher comment. Toutefois, les embouts sont trop gros pour entrer dans les extrémités de lumière Noma intelligente... Même s'ils les montrent ensemble.

Bonjour Nicolas. Merci pour votre avis. Cependant, je pense que vous avez mal compris l'utilité de ce produit. Il s'agit d'une rallonge à brancher sur secteur. L'extrémité mâle ne peut pas être branchée sur les guirlandes de Noël. C'est une mesure de sécurité. Seule l'extrémité femelle est compatible. Veuillez nous excuser pour la confusion. Q: Is the male end of the extension cord compatible with all Xmas string lights - meaning there is not a wider grounder part , both steel prongs need to be the same size

A: No!! I found out the hard way. They look like 2 narrow prongs on the picture but one is actually bigger and won't fit all christmas lights. I'm quite mad that Customer Service gave you a different answer!

Q: How do you figure we can power a 1920 watt appliance with only 8 amps at 120 volts? 18awg wire is not rated for 1920 watts. That's very dangerous to suggest that
