I have tried many different brands of Christmas lights over the years, house brands, other well-known manufacturers brands and have found that they all typically fail within the first two years of operation. I have tried all model levels from Noma over the last few years and have found that the EverTough series to be by far the best out there with a 10 year, in-store warranty to back them up. The pros: Colours on the EverTough series are rich, true and deep with the faceted bulbs enhancing the light. The bulb heads (containing the LEDs) are well formed, one piece, sealed units that are secured to the wires. Stay-lit technology End to end plugs. 10 year warranty (the best) The Cons: 3-wire system, running the bulbs in series, can sometimes make bulb placement and orientation a hassle Wires get stiff quickly in the cold Overall, the EverTough series from Noma are the best Christmas lights I have used and have held up since I purchased my first set when they first came out a few years ago. When taking them down, good practice is to string them out someplace warm to allow them to dry and the wires to become pliable before being coiled up and stored in a plastic storage tote.
