Good lights but poor color matching by noma across their brands. Warm whites are not the same

The light are fine, they are what I was looking for however for whatever reason noma doesn't have the same warm whites across their lines so these do not match the warm white of their icicle lights. This is too bad because you can't test them until you open the package and then it's too late to return .

Cord broke

The end of the cord snapped when we were putting the lights up. The end is very weak, I don’t think it would have lasted through a winter.

Q: I have found that the plug section of my lights gets fairly hot when the lights are on - has this happened to anyone else? I don't know if it's normal or if there's something wrong with my set. I do have them plugged into an extension cord...

A: Yes. They worked fine at 40 below. Had 3 strings of them on the large spruce in our front yard from October to March. They were on every night with no problems, even when they were covered with snow.

Q: What is the life of the bulbs? Can you replace burned out bulbs?

A: Our cord didn’t even last a year…. So wasn’t able to tea the life of the bulbs beyond one season. The connection between plug and cord was so weak it broke after just one season.

Q: Could this be put along the eaves trough of the house? I see a lot of talk about on indoor and outdoor trees but I would like it for the eavestroughs.

Q: Can these be put on a timer? I want them just in the steady mode option, but on an exterior timer so I can control the lighting.

Q: When I plug in these lights and put to blinding mode they work for about 15 mins and then turn off... The light indicator for the different functions is red when the lights are working / blinding and then goes green when they stop. What might be wrong?

It sounds to me like nothing is wrong, only that you have activated the built in timer feature. If the light indicator goes green, this shows the timer is activated. Q: Hi there. I bought this product last year and again this year - the colours are both described as warm white but is different from string to string. Besides having to re-purchase a replacement string to match is there any other option?

A: Hello Chris. Thank you for question. The NOMA Advanced Cluster Lightshow is made with Warm White LED's. As per the industry standard, all Warm White LED chips are ranged between 2700K - 3000K temperature. Batch lots are used to reduce visual variations within product production runs. Chip batches made from different years are sometimes more noticeable. Usually, these variations are only visible when being held side by side and at close visual range. This most likely will not be as noticeable for most applications.

Q: Has anyone been able to find another set of lights that matches this? While they're not their traditional "warm white" they are pretty, but I can't find another set of lights that's the same colour.
