Poor Design - can only use 4 of 8

Bought for my work set-up and I made sure there were enough slots to account for everything I needed to plug in and that the outlets were oriented out so the bigger blocks didn't overlap sideways, but the outlets are so close together, with my plugs for my monitors, plus docking station, speakers, I can only fit 4. So now I'm still unplugging things to switch things out. Such a waste. Given the design of most plugs these days, I would have hoped they'd give them more space. Wouldn't it buy again. Should have returned.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: There is a surge protection indicator light on the power strip. As long as the light is illuminated the surge protection is working. If the light turns off this is an indication that the unit is no longer protected.

Q: Is this a multi use surge protector? The "Certified 6-Outlet Surge Protector Power Bar, 3-ft cord, 350 Joules, White" 052-7211-2 I just bought says it only protects 1 surge then just acts as a power bar.
