Hooked up my Noma 8-outlet& 4 USB NOsurge protector last week and was thankful to know that it helped my tv and internet being protected as our Hydro went out on Tuesday Nov 25 th and all was good when hydro came back on.

A: There is a surge protection indicator light on the power strip. As long as the light is illuminated the surge protection is working. If the light turns off this is an indication that the unit is no longer protected.

Q: Is this a multi use surge protector? The "Certified 6-Outlet Surge Protector Power Bar, 3-ft cord, 350 Joules, White" 052-7211-2 I just bought says it only protects 1 surge then just acts as a power bar.
