Q: Does this units controller prevent overcharging? Can it be used to trickle charge a motorcycle battery in storage over the winter months or a snow mobile in storage during the warm months?

A: I bought the solar panel to recharge the house batteries on my motorhome. It has a controller to prevent overcharging and it seems to work very well. I have used it twice on my motorhome with positive results. I will connect it again when I want to take the motorhome out on the road. It takes a few days to complete the charge.

A: 25W would be insufficient to CHARGE a car battery. It is suitable to MAINTAIN a car battery (while in storage, for example).

A: It is not charging if the charge light do not come on Please try to re-connect the charge controller to battery first and then wire to solar panel.

A: NOMA 25W Crystalline Solar Panel can not power a DC appliance directly, but can charge the 12V battery and use the battery to power the appliances. Please choose a proper 12V battery for 037-0503-8, and charge it with a NOMA 25W Crystalline Solar Panel.

Q: Can you connect 2 of these together? Does 1 controller have enough strength for 2 panels connected together?

A: Yes, but they can only be connected in parallel. We equipped this item with a 8A charge controller, of which the rated current is 8A. The system current should be 2.77A, if connecting two panels in parallel.

A: The controller of 0110009 has no fuse, but it can detect the circuit and will stop charging when the circuit is larger than rated data.
