Works great & easy to install

It is a 12 volt dc lamp. There isn't much to say about it. You just screw it into a 12 volt DC socket and it works. It is quite bright. It is used along the driveway to the house and it is plenty bright enough for that.

Avoid

Made a popping noise and did not work when screwed into my lamp. Exchanged for another and got the same result.
Then tried two other LED bulbs I had around the house and they worked. Nothing to show for this purchase other than time wasted exchanging/returning bulbs.

Camp lights

Used this in a 12v light set up in a hunt camp. They are bright and are easy to wire in. Use a car battery or trailer battery and no need to use a generator.

Improperly marked

I needed some 12vDC bulbs so i picked up two of these. The bulbs work perfectly fine on 12vDC however they are marked 12v 60hz. DC current doesn't alternate 60 times per second. the bulbs shouldn't have a hz rating.

A: I have tested both 12V AC and DC and it works fine, and with DC, the polarity works either way on these bulbs.

Q: Dimmable or NON-dimmable? Which is the TTRRUUTTHH?!?!?! Sigh. The item's title ("NOMA LED A19 60W 12V RV Boat Non-Dimmable Soft White Bulb") says *Non*-Dimmable, however the description ("LED light is dimmable to match your lighting needs") says that the item IS dimmable. Which is the truth?
