serge protector power bar

time will tell how well it will protect my appliance but for now I am impressed. 12 plugins so plenty of room. it lights up to say your bar is grounded and the serge protector is working.

Garbage Power Bar

Purchased two on sale. First one died after warranty, it flashed and died. Second still works, but when my speakers are plugged into it they crackle and lose power on occasion. Speakers work perfect when connected directly to wall. Can't believe the garbage they sell for this price.

The Best Power Station I Have

I've had this for almost 2 years & I really like it.
It's placed behind my TV & all my audio & video systems are plugged into it., so I don't regularly use it, but it's always in use. I like its low flat profile & its glossy black color which makes it look really cool.
Sometimes the ground indicator turns on but it's off the rest of the times, however, I don't have any grounded device linked to it anyway & I haven't taken the time to figure out why.
I'm gonna buy a couple of other similar products from this brand.

The power bar works as advertised. There is a blue light on the power bar that is quite bright with the lights out. If that will annoy you, you may want to look at a different power bar.

A: If there is power through the outlets, surge protection is on. No blue light may be a malfunction – we would suggest taking unit to local Canadian Tire and exchange for a new unit under warranty.

Q: Most power bars have a switch to turn off all outlets on it. I’m looking for one with two switches so you can turn off half the bar but keep the other half on. Can this do that?

A: Unfortunately, this power bar does not have that capability. I can recommend the Geeni Smart Power Bar which connects through your WIFI and each outlet can be operated independently through the Geeni App on your smart phone or through app/voice control with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. You can also set times or routines for each outlet. Product # 052-9703. Or the Merkury 8 outlet Smart Power Bar. When you turn off something plugged into the master switch 5 of the supporting outlets also turn off. Two other outlets always remain on for unrelated devices. Product # 399-2017.

A: The NOMA Performance Series 12 outlets power bar LED lights cannot be turned off. These 2 lights are on to indicate grounded and surge protected status.
