Product Well Made but Design and Packaging Could be Better

I managed to make it work, but I have three suggestions to the manufacturers. The print on the cardboard box did not include a 2 1.2 in clamp size, BUT the label pasted over the opening end said that the enclosed clamp was 2 1/2 in. The actual clamp was larger than 2 1/2 in. OT GOOD. Also the bolts were only threaded part way down to the head of the bolt. That is a bad design choice and made working with the wrong sized clamp more difficult. Lastly, for bolts that go under a vehicle, there were no locknuts. .

The flange had rusted off the muffler pipe causing a noisy exhaust leak, on my car. I cut the flange off the muffler inlet pipe and the flange off the intermediate pipe that it mated to. This did leave almost an inch gap between pipe ends. Installed the 3" wide EASY SEAL clamp evenly and torqued both fasteners to 58ft\lbs. No exhaust leaks at all and the pipes are quite solid. Here's hoping it lasts.
