The flange had rusted off the muffler pipe causing a noisy exhaust leak, on my car. I cut the flange off the muffler inlet pipe and the flange off the intermediate pipe that it mated to. This did leave almost an inch gap between pipe ends. Installed the 3" wide EASY SEAL clamp evenly and torqued both fasteners to 58ft\lbs. No exhaust leaks at all and the pipes are quite solid. Here's hoping it lasts.

Gets the job done

Used to repair my exhaust, took some muscle and persistence, but at the end did a good job.. it is very large so using it under a car with a standard jack will be extremely difficult.. a lift is recommended when using under a vehicle.
