Q: Are the plugs gaped for my Ford Ranger 3.0 engine?
a year agoA: Hi there, thank you for the question. Even though it should already be pre-gapped from the factory, it is still recommended that you confirm the gap is correctly set before installation. You can check this by using the owner’s manual to find the distance for the spark plug gap and then use a gap gauge or feeler gauge to check the distance

Q: NGK site list these with a 0.040" gap, not 0.052". I've measured the gap and it is close to 0.040" . Is this an error on the website? I purchased these for my 2007 Mazda6, 2.3L engine, which recommends 0.052" gap, but now I'm worried it won't fit.
4 years agoA: Hi Peter, while most NGK spark plugs are pre-gapped, there are occasions when the gap requires adjustment. Care must be taken to avoid bending or breaking off the fine-wire electrodes. If the gap must be adjusted, use a tool that only moves the ground electrode and does not pry between or against the electrodes. 5 years agoA: Hi there, depending on the part number which is compatible with your vehicle there may a single spark plug, or two within the blister pack. Please consult your local store for further clarification if needed prior to purchasing in-store, otherwise you're able to reference the description online.
