Q: Anyone else find that the coffee isn't very hot? Is mine defective? Thought about upgrading to the Vertuo Next. Is the coffee hotter from it?

A: Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions on the Vertuo Pop+ with us. Our Vertuo line brewing systems operate at the correct water temperature, quantity and pressure for each blend design, so they deliver our quality promise in the cup, without burning the coffee grinds. Although the temperature of our machines cannot be increased manually, we suggest warming your cup under warm water for better heat retention and using a size that matches your preparation. Using a larger cup will cool the coffee faster. We also recommend cleaning the extraction chamber frequently (once a week).
