Q: This is called and described as an oil soap but description says it is does not contain oils? Also I thought that oil is good for floors, isn’t it?

A: Only use Murphy oil on hardwood floors and other wood furniture; kitchen cabinets, coffee tables. Only on wood. Great for cleaning and leaving a nice shiny finish. Mix murphy oil with luke warm water

A: I would say no. It would probably leave a film. Try pledge multi-purpose spray which is awesome for stainless steel too. It comes in a blue spray bottle.
