Good idea bad setup

Great idea having little pods instead of a light strip that you need a decent surface to apply it to, but when you go to hard wire it in so they turn on with your vehicle they don’t you need the remote to turn it on all the time so I took them back, if that’s what you want then buy them but if you want remote free to turn them on do not buy these
