Q: How is a mulcher blade used?

A: Thank you for your question. If your gas mower includes a method to block the grass discharge (remove the rear bag or side discharge chute and install the correct plug) then the multi-level cutting surfaces of this mulch blade will cut and re-cut clippngs letting them drop back into the lawn. This blade will also perform well as a simple replacement for your original 22" mower blade.
