Since mercury no longer makes or has this part available, I resorted to looking on the web. Found these and they work perfectly. Also 1/5th the listed cost if Merc dealer had them.

Definitely something you should keep in stock .We were lucky ; there was just 1 left. This is something that wears out on a lawnmower and can be replaced by the owner.
