Does not hold charge very long unplugged. It is a decent size and the reception is pretty good, however not good for taking the monitor to other rooms or walking around unless it stays plugged in

Video works fine but audio was horrible. Had to buy a different one to be able to hear.Not at all as advertised.

Q: Can I use the Camera and the monitor like when going camping where there is no wifi?

A: Yes you can. As long as you have the camera and monitor with you and have power. The camera and monitor talk directly with each other so as long as both are near and are powered on your good to go! Happy camping!
