Q: Colour of axle grease 028-0422-2 that I purchased some time ago was GREEN. Surprised that Tub with same code I bought yesterday was RED when opened. Why was colour changed? Are the two compatible? Suitable for critical car wheel bearing service?
3 years agoA: My car's manufacturer specifically says not to mix different greases. As a result, I bought exactly the same CT product number. But when I opened it it was a different colour. And CT rep (here) says it may be from a different manufacturer and can't say if they are compatible. Not acceptable. CT should have changed product code.

3 years agoA: Hi Russ12345, We searched the Warn website and cannot find their grease recommendations. Unfortunately, without knowing their grease recommendations, we cannot comment on the suitability of the MotoMaster Wheel Bearing and Chassis Lube for the application.

Q: Is it safe to use where it can come in contact with rubber or plastic parts?
3 years agoA: Yes, the MotoMaster Wheel Bearing and Chassis Grease was tested for compatibility with the two elastomers (NBR and CR Rubber) that are required for NLGI GC-LB Certification and met the requirements. This does not, however, mean that it would be compatible with other elastomers and plastics. I hope this answers your question. Thanks for shopping at Canadian Tire!
