Q: I’ve bought a monastery inverter. Are these the battery cables I need?
5 years agoA: These battery cables can be used for some inverter installations but what particular gauge you require depends on the wattage rating of your inverter as well as your particular installation/set up (i.e. the length of your battery cables). Please refer to the instruction manual included with your inverter or contact the inverter manufacturer for assistance.

Q: Please indicate whether the terminal is sized for the positive or negative battery terminal.
5 years agoA: The terminal is universal and will accommodate both a positive or negative SAE battery post. If your battery post is worn or smaller than SAE standard (e,g, EN/JIS) you can consider using a post shim (e.g. MotoMaster 011-3601).

Q: What size wrench(es) will I need to tighten the 2 nuts?
8 years agoA: Use a 12mm wrench to tighten to the nut. You should not need a wrench for the bolt head as it is square and will rest against a stop however if you want to put a wrench on it, use a 13mm.

Q: Battery Post Extension Cable Need a Battery Post Extension Cable for 89 Caravan V6 3L. As battery posts position placed opposite. Only need 1 for negestive side under 12". Q: Need a Gauge #4 Or gauge #1 cable ? What is CT p/n. Thanks
12 years agoA: 4-gauge is fine. Once you’re on the product page, select the Style/Size dropdown box to view available lengths. We have a 9” cable (11-0931) and a 13” cable (11-0933) among other sizes.
