Q: Is this oil compatible with reciprocating (i.e. piston type) compressors? Also, is the oil 100% fully synthetic or a synthetic blend? To be used in a makita mac5200 which calls for SAE 20 oil (equivalent to ISO 46 and ISO 68)
3 years agoA: Hello Daniel, thank you for your question. ISO 46 is not recommended for reciprocating (piston-type) compressors. It is fully synthetic; however, it is not PAO based. Happy Halloween!

Q: It doesn't say on the bottle or in the specifications; is this oil detergent or non-detergent? My compressor Porter Cable 30 gallon cast iron v-twin upright) calls for synthetic non-detergent oil. Thanks.
