I bought this jacket 2ys ago. The one spring keeps popping out of position. The handle braket has alot of side play in it. It has a hard time jacking car up. I definitely use jacking stands for safety. Can't trust the jack.

Perfect balance of quality/features and price (on sale).
Bought this to store at my parents to help them with winter/summer tire swaps, brake jobs and suspension work. Works perfectly for small/med SUVs / Vans / Cars. Any lifted vehicles or higher riding (big tires) may have some trouble getting high enough with the <20" max lift height. The offroad jacks or specialty jacks that have SUV adapters are a better bet.
The jack is built well, "Steel is real" as I say. The hybrid jacks are nice, but something about good ol' steel just makes me feel this thing wont snap and explode in my face lifting a heavy truck :)
Make sure you bleed the unit before you use it for the first time, the bleeding procedure doesn't note (in my version of the manual) to undo the filler screw to release the excess air, so be sure to do that after you perform the procedure.
I wish they had more grease points rather than just the one zerk on the lifting arm, some have them on the front casters and the on the handle socket. But those can be drilled/added later if you don't want to disassemble and grease.
For <$200 on sale, a great jack!

Q: Is the jack released by twisting the handle? And can it be released with the handle in the vertical position? I don't have a wide garage.

A: Yes, you can. The release mechanism is not linked to the position of the handle.

Q: I purchased this jack and noticed that one of the front wheels does not contact the ground when there is no weight on the jack. Is it designed this way? I attempted to exchange it but two more jacks at the store did the same thing.

A: It has a long handle to push or pull it along the floor. 2 of the 4 wheels are swivel castors. It rolls well on a smooth floor. I avoid picking it up to carry it as it is fairly heavy.

Q: I would like to use this jack on my cars factory jack points. Will this saddle remove or will it accommodate the pinch weld lifting points like a factory jack?

A: Both the saddle and saddle pad are not removable; they are fixed in place on this MotoMaster Standard-Duty Low-Profile jack. That said, the steel saddle is a common design with recessed cup rim that are compatible with reinforced pinch weld lift points. However, the saddle is not like a factory jack as it is not a pinch weld specific saddle. Overall, we do have confidence the jack will be suitable for your application, provided you are lifting from reinforced pinch welds at designated lift points.
