Special anti-wear additives reduce friction and rust, helping to extend the life of your bar and chain. Trackifier additives minimize sling loss, ensuring steady lubrication for a smoother, more efficient cut. Tinted red for easy visibility, this oil is easy to use and formulated specifically for chainsaw reservoirs.

Specially formulated to not thin out in warmer weather, continuing to lubricate and cool the bar and chain components
This oil is not suitable for 2-cycle engines. Do not use this product in the chainsaw engine or mix with gasoline. Add to the specified reservoir on your chainsaw only. Refer to your owner's manual for details.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do

Don't do a lot of cutting now, but need it for the chain saws to clear small trees, or the many that seem to get damaged in ice or wind storms every year. Can use it in the gas powered or electric saws. Works as well as any of the expensive fancy name brand chain oils.

A: The Motomaster Spring / Summer Chainsaw Bar Oil has base oils that are refined from petroleum products. If spilled in large volumes it will be harmful to the environment.

Q: Is this oil "environmentally friendly"? I ask this because I just bought a litre of your All-Season "Green Earth Technologies" chain oil. From here on in I will either use this, or Canola oil (available at IGA and Metro)
