Recommended for charging batteries rated 10 to 60 Ah and maintaining batteries rated 10 to 400 Ah

Q: If using the eyelets to permanently mount to a vehicle battery, can they both be directly connected to the battery post cable screws? The manual only talks about the clamps and connecting the negative to grounded metal.
2 years agoA: Yes, both eyelets can be connected directly to the battery but you will eventually have corrosion to deal with.

Q: I intend to use this to keep my car battery topped up when car not in use. Can I start the car with this unit plugged in and attached to the battery? It would be great if I can use my remote starter in the winter..

A: J’ai acheté ce chargeur intelligent pour qu’il fonctionne il faut qu’il y ait encore de la vie dans la batterie si elle est à plat ça ne marche pas. C’est ce que le gars du CAA m’a expliqué. Ça ne peu pas servir a chargé une batterie à plat.

Q: Hello - can this be charged via outlet, unplugged and then hooked up to the Battery? I live in an apartment and not near any outlets so want to confirm if this is useful in that regards - thank you!
3 years agoA: Solar battery maintainers are available. Just get one with at least 2 amp output. Solar panel inside windshield and plugs into cigarette lighter or hard wired to always on car power source.

Q: Can this be used to charge a 12volt car battery overnight that indicates 8V, but the car will still not start?

4 years agoA: Depending on how low the battery is, this charger might not have enough juice to charge overnight....it is more of a trickle charger that works great to keep a battery charged when the vehicle is not being used
