Q: Where is the oil fill plug? How do I know if it's low? Is it the same as the release valve? and how do I know if I put too much oil or the oil is low?
10 years agoA: Google "Sealy 2000LJ". It appears to be the same jack. It's manual shows the oil plug location. It is *not* the same as the release valve. It is the small rubber plug on top of the cylinder and is slightly covered by the inspection plate but can be reached with your fingers for the purpose of release air.

13 years agoA: you probably have to jack it up until you can unlock the lock and then lower it. Make sure to also release the oil with the knob using the handle.

Q: how high will this jack lift? Will it be tall enough to elevate a CUV, like a Santa Fe?
15 years agoA: This jack lifts up to 15 something inches... So you can measure on your vehicle to decide if it will be enough. Take into consideration that your suspension's down travel can increase your lifting height's requirement.

Q: The box states this jack has clips to hold the lift handle but I can't see any way to make this happen. Am I missing something?

If you are within the warranty period, you can take the jack, with your receipt, to any Canadian Tire store for exchange. Warranty exchanges without the original receipt will be offered at the Canadian Tire store’s discretion.

Q: What is the max load for this lift? I noticed some 3 ton lift shows 6000 pound load. It means 2.7 ton. How about this one?
