    Happy Ends

When the battery terminal (in my truck) felt hot to the touch I knew it was the result of resistance. On closer inspection, I saw corrosion within the terminal -- time to replace. However, I dislike soldering as it can cause early failure. This fitting, though, enables good contact without heat. I cleaned the old oxidation with muriatic acid, applied some conductive grease, and assembled the new terminal easily. If it fails, it is easily addressed.

    Absolute garbage

This is likely the worst product I have ever bought at Canadian Tire. You can not tighten them up. As others have said, you either strip the threads with only a few foot pounds of torque OR you will break one of the tabs. Either ending renders these parts absolutely useless. You are better off using a hose clamp around your battery terminal to hold your wire on. Do not waste your money or time on these

    Total garbage

As soon as you slightly start tightening the nut, it skips a thread and pops out.
