not sure why all the hate for this unit. I've used it for two years to boost everything from sleds to sxs to ATVs in the winter and use it to power my lights and a fan inside my ice shack. works great.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bout only one day, and the air compressor did not work, i return to the store next day, to get a refund and the told me day don't refund, only exchange, what king of policy is that, after expressing my whew the manager i fondly got my money back. the consumer law say, that the store has to refund or exchange at the consumer preference.

Terrible, didn’t work out of the box

Should have checked the reviews before buying as this is yet another terrible Motomaster product. It really says something that this and one other battery booster (also a Motomaster) are the only ones that aren’t under lock and key. First time charging and the battery level indicator shows a full charge, but when I unplug it the battery level dips to one. Tried to return it but Canadian Tire was only allows exchanges. Ended up getting a Noco GB70 instead of another one of these duds.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Questions

Q: What is power capacity (Watt-hours) of this unit?

5 Answers
  • A: This booster pack uses a 12-volt, 19 Ah battery. That is 228 Wh or 228,000 mWh. Although, since you should avoid discharging a lead-acid battery beyond 50%, technically one should consider there is 114 Wh (or 114,000 mWh) of useable capacity.

Q: Do these have a lifetime warranty? My air-pump blew when inflating my tire on my Tundra.

  • A: My air pump died as well not even used heavily, it seems the Motomaster compressor in this unit is sub par . It still works as a booster. I bought a DEWALT Dxaej14ca to replace it. 2 years still no issues with the compressor and used frequently .

  • A: Absolutely. Like you said it may lose some charge but it is safe to use.

  • A: Unless you’re leaving some of the accessories on such as the light or usb charging, I think you have a defective unit. When fully charged, ours will last for months if it’s not used.
