Q: What is the temperature rating of the cable insulation? What type of cable is the jumper cable made from? For example SGT, SGX or STX type cables? PVC or Crosslink(XL) insulation?

Q: Question about the booster Can I use this booster cable between a Japanese car and American car? My car is Acura,and my friend's car is Pontiac. How to connect the cable? which car go first, chargeable one or dischargeable one? thank you!
Anonymous18 years agoA: You can use them between North American and Japanese cars as long as the system voltages are the same (if they're not the same, the battery can blow up and seriously injure you). There are instructions of how to connect the two cars in your owner's manual or on the back of the carrying case the cables come in.
