'Adjustability' 👍

Needed 'max drop' to move boat into garage. (Along with a few other modifications) Glad I bought this set-up and not the fixed version since I had to use 'max drop' to start, '2nd max drop' along the way, and back to 'max drop' to get her in there! 😝 So the adjustability worked out perfect. The 3500# rating would not make it conducive to highway towing of my boat, but it worked out perfect to maneuver it into storage. 👍

It's solid. It's heavy. Excellent value compared to other adjustable trailer mounts. A pin to secure the trailer mount to the hitch is not included, so you will need to purchase one separately.

A: 500 lbs tongue weight, tow capacity of 3000 lbs in raise position and 5000 lbs in drop position. The vehicle tow capacity and hitch class also have to be considered.

A: Bien que le support 26003 s'adapte à la languette du 0406575P, ce système particulier de contrôle du balancement n'est pas recommandé par notre équipe technique d'ingénierie. Le 26003 convient mieux à un support à rotule de forme solide (non réglable en hauteur) où il n'y a pas de risque de torsion du tube à l'intérieur d'un support à tube. D'autre part, en raison de l'espace entre ces tubes coulissants, il peut en fait limiter l'efficacité de la fonction anti-louvoiement. L'adaptateur anti-louvoiement 26003 est recommandé uniquement pour les supports en acier soudé ou en acier forgé massif.

A: The Reese TowPower Adjustable draw bar can function in the both rise and drop positions. For drop range, the unit can go from 3” to 7-1/2" (7.6 to 19 cm), for rise range, the unit can go from 1-3/4” to 6-1/4" (4.4 to 15.9 cm). For rise functionality, simply reverse the sliding component, and set to desired range.

Q: is this for a class II or class III hitch

A: This is a Class III mount and fits a 2x2” hitch receiver opening. The mount is rated for 5,000-lb towing capacity / 500-lb tongue weight capacity in a drop configuration, and 3,500-lb towing weight capacity / 350-lb tongue weight capacity in a rise configuration.
