Q: can you use the synthetic 10w30 lawnmower oil in a snowblower

A: Hello Stlwrkr55, Please always follow their OEM for the proper viscosity grade to be used, however yes the Synthetic 10W-30 Engine Oil should offer good protection for a snow blower during the Winter months.

Q: What is the difference between MotoMaster 4-Cycle OHV Lawnmower Oil, 10W30 and MotoMaster 10W30 High Mileage Engine Oil (028-8900-6)? Both engine oils appear to be the same spec 10W30 but the lawnmower oil variant costs more, why?

A: Hi Nick67, Thank you for the question. The products MotoMaster 4-Cycle OHV Lawnmower Oil, 10W30 and MotoMaster 10W30 High Mileage Engine Oil, both have the viscosity grade as 10W30. However, the additives for both are different and more suited for their specific application. The additives in the MotoMaster 4-Cycle OHV Lawnmower Oil are there to optimize the performance in lawnmowers, whereas the additives in MotoMaster 10W30 High Mileage Engine Oil are designed for vehicles which are driven for over 120,000 kms.

Q: Why does it appear this appear to be 2 completely different products? (black bottle and grey bottle). Is it synthetic, or not? Black bottle does not say, gray bottle says synthetic blend. I don't want to mix oils in my older engines.
