Bought to use mainly while working on basement renovations and occasional car maintenance. Seems solid and well made. There is a separate switch for the rear-facing red flashing LED's, which is good. The beam is reasonably bright (package says 100 lumens) and the pattern is very even and wide; I measured it to be about 58cm at a distance of about 1m, which is roughly 33° in diameter. The beam maintains a nice, even pattern as you focus tighter until at maximum spot you actually get a projected image of the LED chip, which looks sort of cool. The tightest spot focus gives a beam about 6cm wide at 1m (~4°). I haven't used it that much so far but it is a huge jump from the $3 one I bought at PA.

A: This headlamp can rotate to adjust the angle you need, it can rotate to 180 degree, but actually when you put on the head, it can adjust from straight to touch your eyes, it’s like 75 degree only.:
