These MotoMaster 3-Ton Double-Lock Jack/Axle Stands are ideal for lifting standard passenger and low-profile vehicles, as well as SUVs, vans, and light trucks. The locking jack stands have been fully ANSI certified and offer safety, durability, and strength for lifting many different vehicles. The 3-ton jack stands are designed with a heavy-duty steel frame and a baked enamel finish to resist corrosion. The reliable and convenient ratcheting function enables easier adjustment of these stands.

3 years agoA: The industry standard is to rate a jack stand's capacity by it's max weight per pair. So this is probably the same.

13 years agoA: Download the owners manual, but the 11 3/4 lowest height and 17 1/2 highest height look about right from the info the manual gives.

Q: Can the 3-ton jacks lift up a 2005 Honda Odyssey and provide enough room underneath to do an oil change?
2 years agoA: These are jack stands not a jack. They will hold up a your Odyssey once you've lifted it with your jack but they won't do the lifting. Hope this helps.

6 years agoA: The lift range of the MotoMaster 3-Ton Double-Lock Axle Stands (009-0017) is 11 11/16” - 17 33/64'' (29.7-44.5cm). This should be enough clearance for these vehicles. The weight capacity should be adequate for these vehicles as well, but this should still be verified with Toyota RAV4 or Nissan Rouge manuals to ensure your vehicle meets these requirements.

Q: Is it safe to rotate tires in diagonal using two stands and one floor transmission jack? If so, how? Thanks,
7 years agoA: A safe and proper tire changeover job will require having the entire vehicle lifted with all four wheels off the ground on a level surface, using four jack stands and a hydraulic floor jack. Although a second pair of jack stands may add costs to the job, the investment is worth-while in the time savings from not having to lift/lower the vehicle multiple times. More importantly, it is not safe or recommended to do this job with a transmission jack and two jack stands. Do not use a transmission jack to lift the vehicle, especially using the transmission as the contact point as it is not load-bearing; only use a vehicle jack at designated jack points.

Q: I have a question for Motomaster or Canadian Tire: Is this jack designed so that once you engage the "quick set" (you've pulled the jack up to the desired height and it is now resting freely) you can then easily slip in the locking pin without having to tinker with the height of the jack?
8 years agoA: The primary pin engages with every gear as the column of the jack stand is pulled up. Once reached the desired height, the secondary locking pin should be manually pushed through the hole without any need for further adjustment to the height of the column.
