Q: What does "Special Buy" mean? Thanks in advance
12 years agoA: I don't work for CT but my experience is that a Special Buy is a product that is not normally stocked. This is described as a "hybrid" which is really a misnomer as it is not two types of jacks but rather made from two different metals. It might be better described as composite or as they do with the 3 ton simply aluminum and steel. This type of jack is normally only available in the 3 Ton capacity/size. I suspect the treason is the lower tonnage jacks are smaller and making them out of aluminum and steel to keep their weight manageable so as to be able to be lifted onto a pickup, carried up/down stairs etc. is not really needed. If low lifting tonnage and very low weight is needed then the all aluminum racing jacks are the product to get.

Q: On the box and in the manuel it says: capacity 2¼ ton/2250kg. How can it be ? It should be 2045kg
12 years agoA: A metric ton is 1000 Kilograms, therefore 2.25 metric tons is 2250 kilograms
