    Not impressed..

I bought this in replacement of a regular flood light thinking it could do the job on my garage construction. Turns out that it is 12V only, and doesn't have a power supply with it. Was totally useless on site because of that. I did hook it up to my car and was very disappointed with the output. Not recommended.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Lasted about an hour

Bought it as a work light for my garage. After about an hour it started to flicker, then quit. I noticed I had caught the flimsy cable under the caster wheels of a cart. Inspecting the cable I could see it was squashed a bit. So it was probably my fault and can't return a damaged product. So I cut the cable and re-joined the wires, then replaced the fuse. No dice. Took it apart and honestly this device probably cost a couple of dollars to make. Avoid.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Only 200 Lumens

What isn't noted in the online listing is this lamp is only rated for 200 lumens. I have flashlights that put out more than this. Maybe my expectations are too high, but to call this thing a "flood light" is a stretch. Going back to the store.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    1 - 8 of 8 Questions

Q: what is the lumen output?

    2 Answers
    • A: The 270 lumens may seem low - a typical 10 W LED household bulb is about 800 lumens for example - but it's directional, and so is reasonably bright in the direction you point it, certainly enough to do work on your car in the dark.

    • A: There is no plug for 110 V. It has a plug to go into a 12 V socket like you'd have in a car.
