I use this Power Ball to polish aluminum truck rims and this product stands up to multiple rims. Its doesn't fall apart, it mite lose a fin if you catch it on a corner. Other than that its a awesome product.

Works.. but not long lasting

Bought to shine up a set of rims I refinished.. worked as it should.. but fell apart on my second attempt to make my second pass on the set of rims I polished

I bought the powerball 2 about a month ago. It started to fall apart at the second rim and I had to finish by hand. Not impressed.

Q: Will the power ball clean black plastic trim on my suv?

Q: Is this sutiable to wax/buff a small fibreglass boat? Need to wax/buff a 18ft boat. Will this do the job?

A: The MOTHERS PowerBall is designed to polish aluminum. However if your boat is a gelcoat fiberglass the PowerBall will work fine. Please DO NOT use this tool on a clear coat painted surface

Q: Is there a specific drill speed that is required or is there a special tool available to turn the ball

A: The Powerball attaches to any ¼" drill bit. You would start out at a slower speed increasing the speed as you polish. There are how to videos on Youtube to help with this.
